Topics
The SCINT conference invites presentations and discussion of the broad array of physical processes governing the conversion of high-energy radiation to visible (photodetectable) photons in inorganic materials, and the preparation and engineering of those materials to optimize the response parameters for intended applications. The following list illustrates topics that are of interest in this conference, but it is by no means exclusive. Innovative contributions on all relevant topics are welcomed.

Radiation interaction with materials
Excitation transfer and trapping
Luminescence yield, spectra, quenching, lifetime
Activated and intrinsic luminescence
Crystal defects related to scintillation
Crystal growth and processing
Nanomaterials related to scintillation and luminescence
Photodetectors and signal processing
High-energy physics experiments
Astrophysics and cosmology experiments
Medical imaging
Security screening
