Message from Conference President
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the IEEE-10th International Conference on Inorganic Scintillators and their Applications (SCINT 2009) to be held during June 8-12, 2009 in Jeju Island, Korea.
Beginning in 1992, the SCINT conference has been bringing together investigators from across the world in scintillator research, development and applications. The aim of the meeting is to provide special opportunity for scientists and engineers to present their new results from various researches related to the inorganic scintillators and to keep up-to-dateon the latest research progresses and technological developments. |
The SCINT conferences have moved around widely, being held in in Chamonix, San Francisco, Delft, Shanghai, Moscow, Chamonix, Valencia, Crimea and Winston-Salem, and this time will be held in the beautiful volcanic island - Jeju, that features breathtaking scenery, amiable people, and a unique historical and cultural heritage.
We are confident that the SCINT 2009 will bring all of the participants the best chance to discuss and exchange views among the scintillator research experts and users, and cordially invite you to participate in the conference and to contribute presentations. The selected papers presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science.
